Cadette Media Journey Workshop

Please join us for "Media" Cadette Journey in a Day. Cadettes put the "me" in Media as this journey encourages them to explore the great big multi-media world around them and then remake media to better match the reality they know. Along the way, Cadettes become aware of the value of media, its limitations and effect and the power they have to lead and inspire others. When they have completed this workshop, they will be ready to work with their troop on their Take Action Project!

Camp Spookamaga

Camp Spookamaga, Sat Oct 10, 2020 from 1:30 - 8pm.

Girl Scouts and their troops registered with Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys, and their families are invited to come to the haunted grounds of Camp Spookamaga to visit the fright sites created by older Girl Scouts. There is a small admission fee for all kids and adults that includes a snack. Come with your troop or with your family. A troop leader or adult guardian must accompany children. No costumes, please.

Older Girl Scouts (7th grade & up):  Camp Spookamaga is your opportunity to imagine, design, and create a Halloween-themed fright site. It could be anything from telling stories around a campfire to running a haunted house. As a troop, you may decide to either come on Friday evening (begin setting up, join us for a campfire, a snack, and a hayride and stay overnight) or you may decide to arrive early on Saturday morning and stay to closing. Younger Girl Scout troops and their families will come to Camp Spookamaga on Saturday to creep through the haunted camp, view and participate, be frightened (or not so frightened), and have fun while being thrilled and chilled by your fright or slight fright site.

See attached flyer for more details and information on how to register.
